I just want to preface this with saying I am not one of those guys who comes in thinking that I can learn to program amazing apps in a few days and instantly make tons of money off this. I have taken courses in object oriented programming languages and I have a strong understanding of the theories behind it. I'm planning out an independent study course at my school next year for iPhone/iPad development and one of the things the director of technology and the dean needs in order to sign off on this is a set plan. Planning the class is not your problem obviously but I'm wondering if anyone can suggest any good books. I am spending the first term reading "Programming in Objective-C 2.0" by Stephen G. Kochan, that book will teach me the Objective-C language and finishes up with a section on iPhone app's. After that book I would like to read a book that is specifically about iPhone OS development with the Objective-C language. Anyone have any good books they have read that they can recommend for me to look into?
