Book rental app

    There should be an app that resembles a public library with a minimal charge. Public libraries have such complicated and archaic systems to download a book.

    Why can't they rent books, magazines, etc. for a certain number of days and charge a small monthly fee. It would follow a Netflix or Hulu Plus example. I'm sure the system would pay for itself and make an added profit at that.

    I'd subscribe. I can't believe the prices of the ibooks. I can get a real paperback book much cheaper.

    probably the same reason you can not rent music.

    Not quite. You can pay for the music of your choice in Sirus for example. You have a choice of radios in several languages and all types of music.
