Bookendz question

I'm about to order a Macbook and want a Bookendz to match. Does a Bookendz require a separate power adapter or does it come with one? I need to know ahead of time if I need to purchase an additional power adapter.

Well, according to the Bookendz site the Macbook 'endz are/come-with a "powered USB hub, etc", but you may have noticed that as well, and I'm not sure if that's a separate device. I doubt they'd ship a $159 port-replicator w/o a power supply if it was needed, but when in doubt I've found them to be very quick in responding to email inquiries (way back when I was inquiring the time frame for a Macbook Bookend). I haven't gotten this far in my Macbook accessory chain or I might already know the answer. 😱

Well apparently it needs additional power.

No we do not have any power supply. You will need to use the MagSafe Connector that came with your laptop.

Anyone as of recently had any experiences with the Macbook Bookendz? Is it a reliable product?
