Bookmarks and Safari

I have always had lots of bookmarks between 3 computers. I would just drag the URL onto the bookmarks toolbar. I want to organize my bookmarks using safari. How do people set up and customize thier bookmarks in Safari?
 
I use folders on the bookmarks menu for most and just throw the rest in bookmarks for later filing.
