Maybe the developer preview doesn't have it.

See if you can open a book from iTunes?

I don't have the OS, so I'm just guessing.

No iBooks that I can find. Also, if you open iTunes, choose books and double-click a book, it says you must open it on an iOS device.

Where's iBooks?

I just successfully installed 10.9 Mavericks on my WhiteBook, Maps are working fine but there's no iBooks app. What the hell?

Not in this build. Keep in mind the release is still 4+ months away.

iBooks App not found in Mac Os X Mavericks

I am not able to see iBooks app in Mavericks. Did any one else face the same issue :(

Did you even read a single post before writing that? It's NOT INCLUDED in this release as well as several other features like iRadio.

iBook missing in Mavericks

Hi guys,

I've just installed the Dev Preview of 10.9 but I've noticed that iBooks is not in my iMac, I've found Maps, though.

Any idea, please?

Not included in this build.

Check the forums, this is about the third or fourth topic asking the exact same thing.

No iBooks...

Craig Federighi promised us iBook in Mavericks. Does anyone know when it will be added to the DP?

Nothing official has been released, but its most likely we will see it a few builds before GM, to give adequate time for testing.
