I am one of those eagerly waiting for iBooks to show into Mavericks, or else (it would be good if the released a beta for ML, like they did for Message for Lion).

I read through the thread and understood there is nothing else to do than wait. We waited for iBooks, an app Apple should have made from the beginning, for years and we can wait more, sure...

So, if I get some interesting news I will post it here.

Thank you, have a nice day.

Some of you guys just can't read lol. It's written multiple times that it's not present in DP1, then another guy asking the exact same thing... and another... and another... just... wow...

It's because about 5 threads have been merged into one.

People repeatedly come on the forum then ask questions that have already been answered without looking, then they eventually get merged together by mods.

Am I being stupid?

Hi Guys,

I installed Mavericks and its really good, with better battery life and performance overall... However, I don't know whether I'm being really stupid or I have missed a note, but where is iBooks? I can't find it under my Applications or in Launchpad, and this is the first thing noted on Apple's page on the new OS.

Thanks in advance,

James

You did miss a note. Go read the Release Notes.

Still no iBooks from what I can see investigating through the Developer Preview 3, probably won't release until right before Mavericks Gold Status.
