Anyone here using the booq Vyper XS2 for the MacBook? I always wanted one back when I had my iBook, so I finally ordered one for my MacBook. ~$58 shipped with a 10% coupon I found, not terrible I guess. Not if it's really made as good as it looks!

I received one for my birthday for my MBP 17". I must say it is really nice. My MBP can move in it ever so slightly when all zipped up and shaken with a loose grip, but other then that it works as advertised and allows me to move a little easier with my MBP since I'm not quite as worried. :)

It's supposed to arrive any minute via FedEx, so I'll post pictures after my MacBook tries it on. :D

I think it looks really cool, and it feels like it will protect the MacBook pretty good. The corners don't really feel like it's protecting it that great, but who knows. It feels pretty well built. However, do I think it's worth $60 shipped or whatever it cost? No. It's not that great...it's a sleeve with a zipper around it, probably as good as the ones you can get for $25. :)

I have one...

I have one for my MBP. It's great for protecting your laptop from everyday wear-and-tear, but if you're planning on dropping your computer, it won't stop the nasty mess.

I have to agree with that. This is more of a protecting it form getting bumped around in a backpack or to carry under your arm kind of case....not a neoprene sleeve to stop a blowing ball from crushing your computer.

However, it does look really cool. :D
