Well here are the basic rules for Boost Mobile to unlock:
  • The device has not been previously reported as lost or stolen and thus flagged as ineligible to be unlocked
  • The device has been kept active on your account for at least 12 months and your account is still active at the time you request an unlock.
  • If you meet the above two conditions, you can contact Boost Mobile’s customer support at 1-888-266-7848 to request your device to be unlocked.

[doublepost=1460235367][/doublepost]I haven't.
I thought boost wouldn't give me a honest answer because they wouldn't want me to jump ship.
Well you don't have to tell them you want to jump ship. Just that you have met the requirements and would like your iPhone unlocked. If you meet the items in my earlier post, just call and request the unlock. :cool:

[doublepost=1460235921][/doublepost]Thanks Dave!
I read this article too.
Another article stated that it would be possible if my iPhone was "global".
How can I tell if it is?

So does that mean... Unlocked iPhone6 can join any network? Gsm or cdma??

I wonder if contacting apple would clarify the issue. By giving the serial number, perhaps they could tell you the specifics regarding your phone? Just a thought.

Short answer is maybe! Each carrier determines if they will allow a device on their network, some carriers want to know the IMEI/MEID and if it is in their system of compatible devices then it can be added to their network. This is more often an issue with CDMA carriers, GSM carriers don't often have the issues.

If you tell us the model of your iPhone 6, we can help you figure out if your iPhone 6 will work with T-Mobile. Here is a link where you can check the basic information on the bands supported by the different models of the iPhones.

Another way to check is on your iPhone, Settings > General > About and then share the Model line. It will not be the same as the list on the web page but it tells us exactly what the iPhone 6 was configured from Apple.
