Yesterday I tested my new Booster X5 with some of my old GPUs. All is working very well, but the ATI 5770 behaved a little bit strangely. The fan of the 5770 ist spinning slowly when the computer is turned off. A voltmeter also shows no voltage at the "PCI-out" of the Booster X5. Why the fan rotates?

Does anyone have the same phenomenon?

I haven't seen that at all, no. Is the BoosterX 5 daisy-chained to the Mac Pro's power supply correctly?

I think there is nothing I can do wrong^^
    -220V Cable (Europe) to socket
-5V/12V CD/DVD connector to the 5V/12V port of the X5

Perhaps this is a MP 3,1 thing. I will test it tomorrow in my MP 5,1.

AHHHH, Im going crazy! Same problem on second Booster

Is it normal when I have always 12 V on the GPU-Power Output? The X5 is only connected to the AC Power and there is no Molex connected.

Only connecting the mainpower and I get 12V on GPU-Out. Does anyone have a Voltmeter, a Booster X5 and can measure his Booster, please.

If this is normal, what is the funktion of the Molex?
