I have a new Mac Pro (quad core) with x1900 gpu card and 3 hard drives. Boot camp 1.4 installed fine on to the main HD (I told BC to use 2nd HD as its completely erased) and Mac booted fine using Win XP sp 2 cd. I get a blue screen saying its installing all of its components. After a few minutes the screen changes, still blue but stating a fatal error installing XP. Near bottom of screen it mentions an error with regards to pci.sys. I know some others had issue with Mac Pro's (to do with garbled video) but it appears to be different. Its really annoying as ive tried over 5 times. Win XP cd is fine as it installed on a MBP ok. It also happened with Boot Camp 1.3. Mac Pro otherwise works great using OSX. Im really at my wits-end as I really need this to work. Any help / advice would be really appreciated.
