majordude macrumors 68020 Original poster Sep 1, 2007 #1 I just installed BC 1.4 and have some older games I like to play. They are standard (non-widescreen). While booted into Windows, is there a way to have it center and put black bars on the sides instead of stretching the images and distorting them?

M mainomega macrumors 6502 Sep 1, 2007 #2 my independent LCDs stretch only specific resolutions (ie. 1280x1024) and display other ones untouched (ei. 1440x900). I would play around and see if it does that

Click to expand... It must have to do with video drivers. I had an XP that it had the option to center and black bar standard mode screens. That was an nVidia I think. By the way, Madden 2008 (which supports wide screen modes now... 1680 x 1050 x 32) looks FREAKING AWESOME on my 17" MBP!!! 😀
