Is it because I burned XP as a .cdr ? How do I make it into a .iso?
It sounds like you have a pirated copy of XP. You won't get any help with that here; it's against the rules.
Why would you say my XP is pirated?
Legal versions of XP come on disks. There are numerous threads from people who have downloaded XP/Vista/etc from torrents and have trouble trying to create bootable DVD/CDs. Forum rules prohibit assisting in piracy.
I dont use torrents, so how would I get XP? I have Home Edition SP3. Is that the problem?
You have to answer that, we don't know how you got a legal copy of XP in .cdr format.
Tried to burn it again...
Now I'm posting this from Windows XP on my MacBook Pro.
Thank you very much
