I installed Boot Camp and windows xp pro on my MacBook Pro. If I hold down the option key and select OS X or windows it works just fine.

If I just press the start button and do not hold down option, the machine defaults to start in windows. This is very annoying as I only use windows periodically and do not want to have to hold down option/select OS X every time I start the machine.

Does anyone know how to set it up so that the MacBook will default start into OS X?

Thanks!

In either windows or os x...go to control panel (system prefs) and choose startup disk...then you can choose which one you want to be default. Then click restart.

thanks
