i did my research on the warning that comes up when i launch boot camp, saying it can't be used because i need to "update my hardware". it's because my hard drive is apparently formatted to mac os extended, not " journaled. i ran the boot camp beta perfectly, and i don't understand why leopard would sneak my hard drive to extended (if it did).

either i need a solution for running boot camp on my os extended thing, or i can reformat my hard drive to journaled without erasing it (which to my knowledge is impossible, don't hit me techies).

solved my own problem. to those with the same problem, select macintosh hd from boot camp, and click "enable journaling". it takes about 2 seconds to process and there is no risk of erasing, etc.
