Boot Camp on MacBook

I need Windows to run some software for a mobile application. I am a long time Mac user, but don’t currently have a MacBook.

Does Windows work as well on a Mac using boot camp or would I be better to get dedicated Windows laptop?

I am trying to decide between getting a MacBook Air or a Windows Surface laptop.

Bootcamp runs fine. Startup maybe a bit slow, but I have no idea if it’s due to windows 10 or bootcamp.

I made the decision to go with a Mac in the last 10 days, and am pleased I did. I have set up Boot Camp and hate Windows. Pleased I have gained a nice MacBook Air with MacOS for other uses!
