Hi All,

Sorry for being a noob to all this, but do I get a copy of windows 7 on my RMBP with no disc drive. I need bootcamp because I work in the ticketing industry and the software I use only works in Windows and IE to be exact. Without a disk drive how am I supposed to get it on my Macbook?

The Macs come with OS X Mavericks. If you want windows you supply it yourself.
You can either get an external CD/DVD drive or put a windows image on a pen drive.

As stated you need a copy of Windows 7. If you downloaded your copy, then you already have it as an image file -- all you need to do is create a bootable thumb drive using Disk Utility.

If you only have the DVD copy, then you'll first need to rip the DVD to an image file, and then go about making a bootable usb. If that's the case, you'll either need access to another computer with a disc drive or an external disc drive for your MBP.
