Hey everyone, I’m running on the new iMac 2020, 10 core, 5700xt, 128gb ram. I’m looking to run windows on the computer so I can use software such as 3dsmax for rendering (cpu rendering). Can anyone help me figure what the best way is to run windows? I’ve previously in the past many years ago used boot camp but I’ve heard of parrallel/VM although admittedly know nothing about that alternative to boot camp. Is it a viable option for rendering?

Virtualisation may be the way to go but there is an overhead of using a virtualisation solution. If you don't mind the trade off of the convenience of not having to reboot into Windows to do your rendering and then rebooting into OS X once you're done.

Depends on you entirely.

Do a native Bootcamp install and then point Parallels to use that. You end being able to use either, along with MacOS.
