So i was on boot camp trying to partition my drive and then it an error message showed up and say "the drive cannot be partition or restore to one single volume" can someone help me to get it back to single volume?

If I remember correctly the only way to get your HD back to a single volume is to start your computer from scratch, just make sure you make a disk image if you go this route. You might want to take a look at this as well it might be some help https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/191729/
No, I don't think that's his problem. To the OP: you are trying to install Windows via Boot Camp, and it won't let you partition it right?

If so, you have to repair the disc. Boot from the Tiger install disc, and repair the disk in Disk Utility. Then reboot, and you should be able to install the partition in Boot Camp once you've fixed the errors.

It could need to be reformatted. I'd definitely try to repair it first but Boot Camp is very particular about the partition table and file system so you might need to change those. I know I had to.
