Hello,
I have installed Snow Leopard on my MBP 17", and I want to do boot camp, and install Win XP on it to then upgrade to Windows 7.

I've done boot camp before, and know how to do it. My restore dvd's have 10.5 on them. I have borrowed my Snow Leopard disc to a family member so I don't have it.

The question is when it comes time to enter my Mac dvd to get the drivers, and all that will it work with my original Mac Restore DVD's, or not because I have upgraded to Snow Leopard?

I think it would, because it's just looking for drivers...

It may be able to work, however just know that SL has Bootcamp 3.0, henceforth the drivers will be for that version of Bootcamp.
Did you mean that you "leant" your SL DVD to a family member? You said you borrowed it? Wouldn't that mean you have it?

Also, you do know you can't upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 7 right? You'll need a full version of Windows 7.
