Boot camp windows 8.1 no sound

Hi

After i successfully installed windows 8.1 using a bootable usb, I saw that I have no sound.
I installed all boot camp drivers, all windows updates nothing worked so far..

I even manually installed the audio drivers and the intel drivers as well still no success.

I read a lot of threads about this problem but i still didn.t get anything good.. hopefully someone will give me some help.

Go into your sound settings and see what is the default output device. Possible that it is using another device you might of plugged in (monitor, etc) that windows set as the default sound output.

Uh.. sorry can you guide me here? where do i find what is my default output device ??

in the search box beside the windows logo on the lower left side of your screen, type sound and the sound option should be on top of the search box results, click/select it.

when the sound dialogue box/window shows up, See which device is your default (it will have a green circle with a white checkmark inside it). I don't know which MacBook you have but for me (MBP mid 2014), the default is the one that says Speakers - Cirrus Logic CS4208 (AB93). I image it will be similar for you as well. If the one that says speakers is not the default, click on it and select Set Default on the drop down box near the bottom of the sound dialogue box/window. Once that is done, click a Apply then Ok.

Try playing a sound/song or anything that contains sound to see if it works.

Oky and yeah i forgor to mention -> Macbook pro early 2011.

Well my problem is i have no devices.. i linked a pic with that .. and one with the device manager where the only problem is with high definition audio controler

Unfortunately, I don't see any links or pictures.

I would download the drivers again from apple site and install them and see if that fixes it https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1720?locale=en_US. If that doesn't work, you may have to wait until Apple releases newer drivers that supports windows 10...unless someone else has any ideas.

ye i forgot just uploaded them.. well why would i care about windows 10 support ? ... i have windows 8.1 here and im trying to install all drivers but nothing is working

and As for High definition audio controler in properties it says this error :

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

{Operation Failed}
The requested operation was unsuccessful.

Ahh. my bad. Thought you were installing windows 10. . Found this on the windows site, it appears that some got it working this way (quickly browsed google/bing, I work from home so I don't have much time). BTW, run it when your in windows.
