boot camp with windows 7 ultimate upgrade?

Hi does anyone know if you can use the windows 7 upgrade version directly to install via bootcamp? or do you need to install windows xp first, then use windows 7 upgrade? thanks

You can do a clean install with an upgrade disc, it just required a workaround to activate it. Also, you can't do a direct upgrade from XP to Windows 7.

Exactly... You CAN use the upgrade disc, but during install of Win7 upgrade, you've got to place a disc of a qualified previous version of Windows in the drive to 'prove' you're upgrading from another version.
