Boot camp?

    Sorry if this does not belong here! :eek: I was just wondering, do I need a Windows XP key to run boot camp? Sorry if this is a lame question :D this is my first Mac. And so far I am not looking back!!

    Your post is a little ambiguous, but here goes:

    If you mean 'do I need a Windows (i.e. PC) keyboard', then no. See here for a comparison of Mac and PC keyboards. The page contains links to Boot Camp keyboard mappings for different Apple keyboards.

    If you just mean the Windows key (a.k.a. the Start key), then the Command key on a Mac keyboard will perform this function in Boot Camp. See above link for more info.

    if you meant something else, please post again to clarify.

    ya sorry about that! I was talking about a serial key. lol But after reading more I found my answer. Sorry about that guys!:eek:
