Boot Camp!

When I try to partition in Boot Camp it says " Cant partition .... Files cannot be moved .. " ! 😡

How do I fix this? And I am NOT going to reinstall... I have tried iDefrag, didnt work .. 😡😡😡😡😡

do a CCClone onto an external.

boot off said clone.

whilst booting off the clone, wipe your existing internal HDD.

copy the external clone onto your internal clone.

then try again.

it will take about 1 or 2 hours depending on your connections

Restart and try again. Close all open programs first.

I got this with my SSD 160GB, I wanted to give it 50GB of space, it wouldn't let me do anything higher than 40GB IIRC (it could have let me do 41 maybe 42 I don't remember, I used 40).

I've heard that if you have any .dmg files on your drive you won't be able to partition, but I don't know if that's really true.
