Hello All,

I am trying to do the unsupported upgrade in a 2,1 machine with upgraded graphics card.

I was able to follow the tutorials up until replacing the boot.efi file. It will not overwrite the existing one, and it is locked.

I am unable to unlock it by any way I can see. After running the sudo chg.... commands I can go no further.

Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

It's at times like this when I log in as "root".
Just be careful at what you are doing.
