Pangu8 1.0 for OSX
iPad Mini 2 Wifi 32gb
iOS 8.1

This is the second time now, this has happened...

If my iPad Mini 2 reboots, it fails to get past the white Apple, and just sits there.

Booting into "safe mode" (power + volume up) doesn't work either. The Apple pops up, then the device just powers back off immediately.

When I get home, I'll restore again, but pretty soon I won't be able to restore to 8.1 and Jailbreak, so I'd like to figure this out.

HALP!

DFU Restore as new via itunes

than JB

Afterwards restore your backup

Disable find my phone, password and select airplane mode

Method I used to jailbreak both times:

- Restore 8.1 as new (second time via DFU)
- Jailbreak with Pangu8 v 1.0 for OSX
- Restore backup via iTunes

I have to turn find my phone off, password off, and keep the iPad in airplane mode indefinitely?

If you're restoring from iTunes backup do that before opening cydia for first time

Will give it a shot.

Also thinking of just setting the iPad up as new, since maybe the backup is messed up or something. Thoughts?

The backup will work fine if you do the restore before opening cydia the first time

I agree with you for an ipad i would just setup as new and not worry about it

As of this moment, 4:18PM EST, it is still being signed. Get your ass home and restore now. 8.0.2 was signed up until around 6:00PM when 8.1 was released the earlier that day.

Just got home, restore worked... set up as new iPad, going through Pangu again...

Dunno why my iPad has given me issues, but my 5S is fine.

*crossing fingers*
