Sooooo, I need to reinstall OS X.

I had asked this question a little while ago, but it was inside of another thread that had to do with something different.

Here we go:
Can I install OSX from a USB DVD-ROM drive?
Mind you, this mac doesn't have OSX already on it, it was deleted somehow.
