Hi all,

New here and wanted to ask a question that I find strange about my iMac 2013

Installed Monterey on my external SSD using OpenCore and it worked fine but when I was going to install Ventura with the updated open-core 0.5.1 I no longer have the boot menu. Nothing happens when using the Option key while rebooting it just goes to open the older Big Sur.

Any ideas? I'm going to get a USB keyboard to see if it is the bluetooth that is acting up during boot

Cheers

Well since nobody seems to know the answer I will add some more info.

I can not get the imac to boot to the ssd with Ventura installed.

Set to have the SSD as the startup disc

Holding down the Option key gives me the above boot option with no SSD drive?

No matter what drive I click on goes directly to my old HDD with Big Sur.

I'm dumbfounded and answers on Google nor anywhere else so I put my hope here with you guys

Please help

Tried the command line via the terminal but to no avail.

sudo bless -mount /Volumes/SSD -setBoot
