Hi all,

Since installing High Sierra, every time I restart my computer or colt boot, it defaults to booting to the OSX installation partition which states the OS cannot be installed.

If I hold alt and boot to the standard install it's fine, but I can't find out how to either remove the installation partition or just change the boot order. My system boot preference only shows the target disk which is selected correctly.

Any help appreciated.
thanks!

The system's boot order is stored in PRAM, so, even though it's the default answer for everything these days, I highly recommend resetting PRAM and SMC while you're at it for good measure - reselecting your disk in Startup Preferences and seeing if that fixes it
