Hi guys,

I have a Macbook Pro with a 2.4Ghz and I was testing the boot time and this is what I got...

Boot: 35.7 seconds

Re-boot: 36.9 seconds

Is this good or can I improve the boot time?...

What is you boot time?

On my 2.33 Ghz MBP with a 4200 RPM 200 GB Drive, I get approx 40 sec boot time. Seems improved with Leopard.

I've not timed it but it's definitely a lot slower than it was in Tiger. The funny thing is I've noticed that when I restart or load Windows then go back to Leopard it doesn't take no where near as long to load.

Your boot time is pretty good. I don't think you can realistically expect anything faster than that. Since most people don't boot often anyways, a 30-40 second wait really isn't a big deal.
