Boot up a USB fedora 18

I got a 2013 MBA. I can't boot up a USB fedora drive. The boot up procedure just stalled long enough to forget it.
Does anyone find a workaround?
Bootcamp is not my favorite for no permanent presence wanted in my ssd.

Boot it in verbose mode by pressing the right arrow key while booting and have a look at what it comes up with.
