Bootable APFS Encrypted to external HDD?

I have MBP 10.14.4 and internal SSD APFS (Encrypted).

I made SuperDuper! bootable backup.

Is it possible to install this backup to external 1TB HDD and boot from it?

Yes... you should be able to use SD to copy the backup to another external drive then boot from it.

You can also boot and run directly from the cloned backup, if you wish.

That's really what a "clone" is all about...
