Bootable Disk Problem

So my dumbass Downloaded Mountain Lion and Installed it...little did I know I had to make a start up disk before I installed it.

Is there any way to find the Instal File after installing it?

This won't work since I already installed it!?!

Think I read something about holding down the option key in the App Store and it should appear in the "purchased" tab. Could be wrong

I already have it installed...I'm re-downloading it (the installer that is) and going to make a copy. Then delete the installed since it's 4 GB...does that sound about right?
