I have a copy of Windows XP Professional. The box says 2002 version.

Can I still use it on BootCamp? I'm not sure if it has SP2 or not. If it doesn't, can I update to SP2?

Also, I only want windows to run 2 apps that are very small and won't require much HD space for storing the files. I want to use the minimum possible HD space. How much should I allocate to XP running 2 non intensive apps?

    Thanks,

You need to figure out if it has SP2 or not. If it doesn't, you can make your wn "slipstream" CD, which you could easily find a tutorial for on the web. XP on;y takes about 4GB to install...so maybe that will help you decide how much space to allocate.

I am pretty sure that it does not have SP2. It doesn't say it anywhere on the box.

You'll more then likely have to slipstream that copy of Windows to service pack 2.

I just did that with my XP Pro disc, then did all the updates up to now, and did an unattended installer.

nLite is my tool of choice
