Bootcamp Assistant shuts down MBP

Im trying to install windows on my Mac using bootcamp i have a windows 7 ISO file and a USB stick which im trying to boot from I have but when installed the windows installer onto the USB but when Bootcamp Assistant in the process of partitioning the drive it just shuts down and re boots my mac and i get a black screen telling me no bootable device, also tried holding alt at startup and booting the usb that way but its no recognised any help appreciated.

Removed my optical drive and installed an SSD
Running Yosemite beta

Go back to Mavericks, Yosemite is beta and bound to be buggy.

Im only running Yosemite on a partition tried it on Mavericks as well same issue

MacBooks that come with an optical drive can only install Windows from the optical drive.
There is no way around this.

You can but you have to put the optical drive back in order to install.

Not with your set up. You need to remove one of your OS X installations and put the optical drive back in.
