bootcamp/creating partions issues

so i'm sitting here trying to creat a partion. i get an error saying the hdd can not be verified and it says to run disk utility and i doandi

did you start up with the install cd? You have to start up with it the go to applications/disk utility from the drop down menu select the main disk not the one that says Macintosh HD then hit repair HD/
