I recently purchased a mid range macbook, but when I try and install Windows XP Professional SP 2 through boot camp, I recieve a disk error after the system reboots. I went through the boot camp installation step by step and the error occurs at page 11, this is before I have the oppurtunity to partition the drive, so this is not the problem.

If anyone can shed some light this would be much appreciated. Cheers Jack.

The disk error is because there is no OS on the partition , I did get that message when I failed to boot from the Windows CD, be sure to restart from the windows CD hold down the C key while your mac is booting.
