I'm trying to install Vista on my iMac in order to play some games, however whenever I insert the disk I'm taken to a screen that's black all but a single flashing underscore in the top-left corner. The keyboard and mouse are completely unresponsive and I have no idea what to do =/

If I remember, that is just before the Vista install, kind of like the blue screen start up but this time just a black screen with blinking curser. How long did you wait before turning your Mac off thinking it had crashed?

I have indeed; set it to 32Gb
