Bootcamp Help

Hi all, I wan t to install windows on my imac(2.8Ghz, 2gb, 2600 HD) but for some reason when i partition my hardrive and start my computer to install windows, the disc will not boot up. Theres just a black screen with a cursor blinking. I know my windows xp Sp3 disk works because i have done it before successfully before snow leopard (10.5.8).

Any advice?

Did you use BootCamp Assistant to create the Windows partition?

i used the assistant

I suppose the next thing I'd try is deleting and recreating the BC partition.

I've done that twice
