I currently own a Macbook I purchased in January 2009. A few days ago I installed Boot Camp Agent so I could use it to play certain games I could not run using Parallels.

I downloaded Boot Camp following the directions it comes with. (Installed Windows XP Pro, then installed Mac OSX Leopard 10.5). Everything works fine except I cannot figure out how to use the wireless network established in my home. On the Mac side, I can connect to the internet with the Airport fine, never have a problem on that side. When switched to the Windows side I have no wireless options. Though I can use the internet when using an ethernet cable connected directly to my router (Linksys WRT110).

I have read soo many forum posts and nothing I have read has helped so far. When I go to Network Connections and Properties, I do not have a Wireless Network Connection tab.

    Someone help :(
    Thanks.

Look into seeing if there is a Broadcomm Airport Card driver from 2007 or 2008 that would work with Linksys.

Did you install all the drivers from the OSX disk?

How do I find that (Airport Card Driver)?

Is that something I can download from the internet?

And yes, I have installed Leopard drivers. I have tried pressing "Repair" and also removed my XP partition once before to see if it would fix the problem.

Do you have Boot Camp 2.1? You have to download the update. If you have Apple Software Update installed you can just run it and it'll show up there.

So I have found a solution...

I took the Linksys wireless adapter (WUSB54GS) from my unused desktop PC and installed it onto my Macbook. I am able to connect to the internet wirelessly now but I face another *small* problem. The internet is very slow now. Why?

    "Signal Strength: Very Good"

So why is it SO slow? Websites will "timeout" or just take forever to load, unless its Google. Google always loads just fine. The internet using Boot Camp/XP is slower than both of my Windows desktops, my iMac, and when I use Safari on Mac's OS X.

My connection is now often dropping out as well...

Again, did you install the Boot Camp 2.1 update?
