Bootcamp installation on external Firewire

Hi,

Has anyone successfully installed bootcamp win7 or win8/8.1 on a external firewire drive?

If yes? How have you done this?

The reason why I ask this is because I am going to buy SSD Crucial MX100 512GB, and I don't want to use the SSD for windows partition.

Not really, but many have had success installing Windows on a Thunderbolt HDD or SSD, if you have a TB Mac after all.
