Hello.

Ive been using my imac (Late 2013) with windows in bootcamp, but recently i wanted to di a clean install of 7.

But, everytime i select the iso on bootcamp it says Windows 8 cannot be installed on this computer when its an Windows 7 Iso(tried 2 already), or that its not possible to create a bootable usb.

Im using El Captain, this didnt happened with Yosemite. Useless to say my imac doesnt support cd, so thats not an option.

Thanks in advance.

Here is a trick.
You can try to use a supported version of iso to create boot media, and once completed, Replace install files with Windows 7 ones. This includes everything in an Windows 7 install iso, with the exception of "autorun.inf".
