Ive just purchased a 12" MacBook 2017 which I want to install windows 10 on bootcamp. Ive created an ISO using windows media creation tool but every time I try and use the ISO created to install windows it comes back with

'bootcamp only supports 64bit windows installation on this platform, Please use an ISO file for 64-bit windows 10 or later installation'

The version of windows I'm using is the latest build and defiantly 64bit. Can anyone tell me how to get around this error?

Many thanks

You mentioned that you’re using the media creation tool. Are you just using it to download the ISO, or are you letting it go ahead and put it on the flash drive? Boot camp on the 12” just wants the ISO somewhere on the SSD, not ‘burned’ to a flash drive.

Hi,

Yes I've tried both methods and get the same error.
