Anyone have any insight into windows compatibility with the new M1 Macs
Parallels, really?
So they are on this out of the gate. I ‘m surprised. Maybe I shouldn’t be?
Anyway, I signed up to Beta test this (actually, they call it a preview, which may not be anything)/
Good for themand us
You really shouldn't, as a Apple Silicon version of Parallels was prominently shown at WWDC almost five months ago.Parallels, really?

They don't seem to be fully convinced themselves. We have just released CrossOver 20.0.1, which we believe will run well on the new systems from Apple.
There's a huge amount of work between a 30 second proof-of-concept video demonstration and a product ready to ship (esp. one that will need to work with at least half-a-dozen different Linux distros).I don't get it. In the WWDC 2020 Apple presented Debian running in Parallels. And now they are saying it's not ready?
It is Intel that has made ARM mainstream 😉I'm rather hoping that as Apple makes ARM mainstream, Linux (and Windows) will follow. Clearly, none of this is going to happen right away.
