Ok so i have downloaded windows 7 so i have it completely and i plan on putting it on a usb so i can bootcamp on my macbook air, i'm confused when i read online saying i need the windows 7 iso in the usb may i know how to get that iso and where i can find it? thanks alot

An iso is like a disk image. A whole disc gets compressed into a single file so it can be sent and then mounted like the original disk. Usually the win7 download is an iso file. You use disk utility to burn the image to disk, or in your case a usb drive. Past versions of bootcamp have had detailed instructions available inside the bootcamp assistant application. Hope this helps!

just google the iso you need depending on which version you are looking for

put that iso onto your mac hard drive.

use bootcamp assistant and direct the install through your usb (it will reformat it before it starts so make sure its empty)
