Bootcamp trouble...pre windows

    so i'm trying to run boot camp...for games of course, and every time i try to partition (20gb out of 30ish free) and it keeps telling me that it can't parition because certain files cannot be moved around. Also it tells me that i should try wiping and reformatting my drive to extended journaled (which is what mine is)...soooo i have no idea how to get this to work without reformating which i REALLY don't want to have to do

    You're going to need to reformat or defrag the drive. There might be 30 GB free except there isn't a 20 GB chunk of that space that's contiguous.

    Yeah, the problem might simply be that it can't allocate that much space from all the scattered pieces in the drive, so try defragmenting it first, see if it helps.
