Hi guys! I'm new to the forums, as i'm a potential new iMac user :)

I often work with visualstudio and xna, my question is obvious. How do you think it'll perform the new imac (with the 2600 PRO/XT/whatever) with all the 3d stuff? I know how it works with games, I'm just not sure about compiling and executing my own 3d stuff, mainly XNA, wich is obvioulsy windows based... so better asking than sorrying!

Thanks for reading, and sorry for my english, I need to improve it :p

Microsoft Visual Studio itself will run just fine. For the most part Microsoft XNA Game Studio Express should run fine as well. XNA Hardware requirements from Microsoft state:

Microsoft said:
To run XNA Framework games on Windows, you will need a graphics card that supports Shader Model 1.1 or greater and DirectX 9.0c. We recommend that you use a graphics card that supports Shader Model 2.0 because some samples and starter kits may require it.

The ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO has full support for Microsoft DirectX 10 and Shader Model 4.0, so you should be fine. You far exceed the requirements to run XNA on an iMac and unless you are going to build a very 3D intensive game yourself you should be fine.
