BootCamp: Which advantages does it have over Parallels?

    Other than for gaming purposes (full drivers for the GPU), and full access to available RAM and Processor, are there any other advantages BootCamp has over Parallels? One disadvantage I see is that I can't run OS X at the same time.

    I think you covered the basic advantages.

    You also covered the basic and in my opinion, the important disadvantage of bootcamp. That being needing to reboot the system to get in to Windows and then reboot again to OS X. At the very least think of Mail, Adium(instant messenger client), etc. You know the things that are in the background always running?
