Bootcamp Windows install from FireWire DVD drive?

Is it possible to install from my Windows 7 disc onto my MacBook (early 2009) model? The original SuperDrive went bad, so I replaced it with a second hard drive caddy and put another 250 GB drive inside it, and I want to put a Windows 7/Boot Camp partition. I tried it, and I initially got the flashing question mark icon from the disc, and from the "EFI Boot" I got the "no boot disc" thing.

Are there any more options I should try?
