bootcamp wont partition

i had removed an older bootcamp a month ago and now would like to create a new one however whenever i try and create a partition this message is shown

That's happened to me a few times. First thing I do is look for any large files (like GB) that I can move to an external HDD. Then after restarting and trying again I get the same message 🙁 I always end up having to archive install (which also fails sometimes) or clean install > bootcamp > transfer data which always works.

If anyone has a better way let us know.

It happened to me once so I quit BootCamp and tried again and it worked then!
