I have a macbook 13inch with Windows XP running via bootcamp.

the highest resolution that i can chose in Display Properties is 1280x800. Is there no way i can get a higher resolution? on my mac os side i can have just about whatever resolution i choose.

Thanks in advance! :D

The 13" MacBook and MacBook Pro are limited to 1280 x 800, as that is the native resolution of the panel used for that display. Are you saying you can get a resolution higher than 1280 x 800 in Mac OS X using the internal display?

On the fence
1280x800 is the highest your display can go, and it will also be the highest you can pick in OS X. There may just be more options for lower resolutions.

Ok, i'm in Bootcamp right now, and just off memory i was sure i could go higher than 1200x800, but if your sure then i must be mistaken. That makes me sad. seems like a very poor resolution for such a nice screen.
